What are the costs of contract registration and stamp duty?
For monthly rentals of an entire apartment or a single room, the cost required for the mandatory registration of the contract varies depending on the rental fee and must be borne at the time of signing the contract and, subsequently, every year concurrently with its renewal. The cost of the revenue stamp, however, will only have to be paid once during registration of the contract and amounts to 34 euros.
What documents do I need to have to rent an apartment or room?
Depending on whether your stay is for a few days, or more than a month, all the information that will be requested from you, as well as the documents, are mandatory and required by the Italian State. Generally we require the image or PDF of your identity card or passport and, if you have one, your tax code. These documents are necessary for us to begin preparing everything necessary to finalize your stay (for rentals of less than 30 days) or rental agreement.
How can I pay the deposit?
It is possible to pay the deposit only through tracked movements (bank transfer or credit card or PayPal), and not in cash. The best and simplest solution will be agreed upon when the rental contract is drawn up.
